Description:

The lobed sides of this planter were made by blowing the glass into a mould. A grinding wheel was used to smooth the surface and sharpen the detail of the design. These planters were used to hold bulbs, especially daffodils and narcissus at New Year, or to hold miniature trees like bonsai.
