Page 7 (left) from the log book of the slave ship Black Prince. This page shows a record of measles and flux on the ship. Measles is a highly contagious viral illness which can make the sufferer feel very unwell. Flux causes vomitting and diarrohea and if left untreated can cause severe dehydration.
