Muster roll for the ship, the Bristol Packet , from Bristol to Philadelphia, thence to St Kitts and thence to Bristol, 1765.
This voyage took in trade to mainland America and the Caribbean.

The Society of Merchant Venturers is a Bristol-based organisation, which was formed in 1552 as an elite body of merchants involved in overseas trade. The Society still exists today.
